Privacy policy
This policy explains how Ryan Mead, trading as Lead Social (ABN 52 450 927 366), collects, uses, stores and shares personal information. In this policy, "we" and "us" means Lead Social. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job. These include:
- GoHighLevel, which runs our booking calendar, forms and CRM
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for advertising and measurement
- Our website host
- Our email, file storage, accounting and payment providers
- Professional advisers, such as our accountant or lawyer
We may also share information where the law requires or allows it.
Storage outside Australia
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. GoHighLevel and Meta are two examples. Overseas laws may not protect your information in the same way Australian law does.
Cookies and the Meta pixel
Our website and booking calendar may use cookies and similar technology. We may use the Meta pixel, a small piece of code from Meta, to measure how our ads perform and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. Meta handles that information under its own privacy policy.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage the ads you see in your Facebook and Instagram settings.
When we work for a client
We build and run our clients' marketing inside their own accounts, including their CRM and Meta ad account. That means we may see personal information about a client's leads and customers. We use it only to provide our services to that client, following their instructions.
The client's own privacy policy covers how they handle their leads' information. If you're a lead or customer of one of our clients, please contact that business first.
Marketing
Every marketing email or message we send tells you how to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to stop at any time using the contact details below.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. No website or online service is completely secure, so we can't promise that information sent to us online will always be safe.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, or as long as the law requires. After that, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. It's free to ask. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we aim to respond within 30 days. If we can't give you access or make a correction, we'll tell you why in writing.
Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your personal information, please contact us first. We'll look into it and aim to reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our reply, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
